Return Procedure
 

Starting from January 10, 2024, Store Pick-up Order needs to ship product back to the warehouse at your own expense for return and refund service.
※ For online orders, returns can only be sent by mail or via the designated logistics method to the warehouse. Returns at physical stores are not available.
※ The warehouse is not open to the public, so in-person returns at the warehouse are not possible.
※ Return shipping costs must be paid by you. If insufficient postage is provided, the warehouse will reject the return, and you will bear any additional charges.


Step 1 : Review Checklist

Before proceeding with a return, please ensure the item meets the following conditions :
  • Return application is within 30 days of the order dispatch date.
  • Check whether the item meets the return/exchange conditions.

※If the returned item does not meet the return/exchange conditions, your return request will be cancelled, and the item will be sent back to you.


Step 2 : Apply Online Return Application

Log in to the UNIQLO website or app, go to ( Member Center ) > ( Online Orders ), select the relevant order, choose the item you wish to return, and click ( Apply After-Sales Service ) > ( Return & Refund ) .
In most cases, the Customer Service Center will review your request within 1 business day and notify you via SMS. Processing time may vary depending on the details of your request.

※If your order used a UNIQLO coupon, the refund amount will be reduced by the coupon value, and the coupon will not be reissued.


Step 3 : Packing & Shipping
  • Pack the item(s) to be returned together with the original receipt securely, ensuring no part of the item is exposed. You may use your own packaging or the original box/plastic bag.
  • ※Please pack properly to avoid damage or non-compliance with return conditions, which may delay your refund.
  • Within 7 days after your return request is approved, send the package via any courier or postal service to the designated UNIQLO warehouse. Then upload the tracking number in [Member] > [Online Orders] > Your Return Order > [View After-Sales Details]
  • ※Return shipping costs must be paid by you. If insufficient postage is provided, the warehouse will reject the return, and you will bear any additional charges.
  • ※The warehouse only accepts packages by mail. Do not deliver in person, as it will not be processed.
  • ※If the tracking number is not uploaded within the deadline, the system will automatically close the refund request, and you will need to reapply within the return period.
  • ※If one package contains multiple orders for return, clearly indicate which items belong to each order to avoid delays in processing.

Step 4 : Return Status Tracking

Once the warehouse receives your returned item, it will undergo inspection in sequence. You can check the return status under [Member] > [Refund Records].
Inspection is generally completed within 7 business days, but actual processing time may vary depending on order volume. No separate notification will be provided.

※If the item does not meet return/exchange conditions, the return will not be processed, and the item will be sent back to you with freight collect.


Step 5 : Refund

After confirmation, the Customer Service Center will issue refund instructions.

 

In most cases, you will receive the refund within 30 days via the original payment method. Actual timing may vary depending on your card issuer, bank, or payment provider.

 

※If you have a large volume of returns exceeding certain limits, or if misuse of the return/exchange service is suspected, UNIQLO reserves the right to blacklist your account and restrict services.


Return fee

If a return or exchange is required due to a quality issue, UNIQLO will cover the shipping cost for the defective item. Otherwise, you are responsible for any shipping fees incurred when sending the item to the warehouse. Shipping costs vary by courier; please contact your logistics provider for details.


Q&A
  • Q : I no longer want to return the item. Can I cancel or change to an exchange?

    A. Yes. Please follow these steps:

    1. Go to [Member] > [Online Orders].
    2. Select the relevant order, click < View After-Sales Details >, then choose < Cancel Return Request > .

    You may exchange the item in person at any UNIQLO store in Hong Kong or Macau, or by mail.
    For mail exchanges, please submit an online exchange request first. [ Click here for details ].

  • Q: I do not want to pay for return shipping. Any suggestions?

    A. Any purchased item that meets the return/exchange conditions can be exchanged at any UNIQLO store in Hong Kong or Macau within the return period, without additional application.

  • Q : I forgot to upload the tracking number for my return package. What should I do?

    A. If the tracking number is not uploaded within the deadline, the return/refund request will be automatically closed.
    If you have already shipped the item, you may reapply for [Return & Refund] within the return period and upload the tracking number within 7 days after approval.

  • Q : My return/refund request has expired. What should I do?

    A. If the order is still within the return/exchange period, you may reapply for [Return & Refund]. After approval, ship the item at your own expense within 7 days and upload the tracking number.
    Return/Exchange Period:

    1. Store Pickup Orders: Within 30 days from pickup date
    2. Home Delivery Orders: Within 30 days from shipping date
  • Q : I exchanged the item, but it still doesn’t fit. Can I return it?

    A. Items that have been exchanged cannot be returned. However, you may exchange them again within the return/exchange period.
